I just checked my voice mail and the last person to call was my Dad. It is a very good example of how Americans usually leave a message. Here is exactly what he said:
"Hey Joel, this is your Dad, Gimme (give me) a call. Gail said you called at home and left a message so I'm just calling you back. We're heading back from skiing, so...
I'll be on the cell phone. Give me a call if you need to. Otherwise, I'll chat with you later. Talk to you later. Bye bye."
